Hi folks…something we are toying with is the idea of making our Tuesday and Thursday sessions focused classes again after the Open workouts conclude in April, where we’d program some Olympic lifting and skill work (in a teaching environment, i.e., progressions and reps) for the first 30-40 minutes of class, followed by a longer group conditioner.
We’re considering this for a couple of reasons:
1) We’d like to get more of you in here on Tuesdays and Thursdays–attendance on those days has been pretty sparse and we want to make sure we are providing you with tons of usage for your membership.
2) We’d like to provide better value and scheduled incentive for folks who are here to work on CrossFit specifically. The Olympic lifts, skill work, and well-programmed longer conditioning can certainly help you out in that regard while also adding a nice extra day or two for our M/W/F folks.
2a) For folks who are just interested in the Oly/skill work, we would consider keeping a platform or two open during conditioning for longer progressions.
At this point just querying interest. We’d love to know:
1) Who would attend Tues/Thurs regularly (enough) if we made this switchover?
2) Whose week is dependent upon making up a M/W/F workout on a Tu/Th (and wouldn’t be able to make up a workout on Sat/Sun)?
